Why A Crestliner

Why A Crestliner Boats

Only The Strong Survive

Built to last.

More than 60 years of knowledge and refinement are behind Crestliner's modern manufacturing techniques. Our four-piece hull design with tongue-and-grove channel construction defines the industry standard; Captain and crew enjoy a world-renowned ride on a rock-solid platform. Patented extruded gunnels and Crestliner's signature conversion bow elevate the experience of both tournament pros and serious fishing families alike. Crestliner's unbeatable performance, style, comfort and durability are what built our reputation for six decades and counting.

Welding : The Seal of Quality

Our philosophy is, the more a boat's components are welded together the instead of riveted, the better. That's how the most durable vessels in the world are constructed; submarines, cruise ships and naval destroyers are welded, bow to stern – and so is every Crestliner. It's proven to stand up to the roughest abuse water can inflict.
Variable Degree Deadrise

Variable Degree Deadrise

Unlike many competitive designs that contribute to a rough, unstable ride, the degree of dead rise increases from stern to bow so a Crestliner planes faster. Water is directed outward for optimum onboard protection from spray.

Foremost Design and Technology
Tongue and Groove Channel

Tongue-and-Groove Channels

Our competition might think it's sufficient to simpy weld two sheets of aluminum together. Not us.
Our custom-engineered extrusions feature tongue-and-groove channels that add strength
and style.

Extruded Gunnels

Our patented, structurally engineered extruded gunnels are strong, functional and free up space. They also eliminate the need for cumbersome cover snaps. Most of our gunnels utilize our no-fuss snapless "J" hook travel cover system.

Reverse Chine

Reverse Chine

Ride quality and time to plane are greatly improved by the reverse chine design featured on most Crestliner boats. You stay comfortable and dry, even on
rough water.

Stringers and Supports

Crestliners are incredibly strong thanks to an intricate, welded stringer system and below-floor aluminum supports.
