Jason Durham has spent his life fishing and guiding Minnesota lakes, studying the patterns of nature, learning fish behavior from the earliest spring stirrings of the spawn to fall feeding patterns. As one of the most respected guides in the state, he knows these waters as well as anyone.
Guiding on his home lakes grounds him, bringing him closer to the things that first brought him joy in life. It connects him with the natural world, and makes getting up at four in the morning worth it every time. He takes special pride in teaching people how to fish, in passing on the traditions of angling to new minds, opening their eyes to the wonder that lies just beneath the surface.
